We have started working through the notes for Chapter 16 (attached below). We will be working on this material for the rest of the nine weeks and we will use these notes as our review for the nine-weeks test.
We are taking our quiz today over the 19 geographical terms we discussed on Monday. We will also go over the TCAP booklet that we have worked on over the past several days.
We continued working out of the TCAP book provided by the state. Don't forget that we will be taking our quiz tomorrow over the 19 geography terms we covered yesterday!
We will go over several geographical terms today and will have a quiz over them on Wednesday. The terms are attached below. We will also start working on a TCAP study guide provide by the state.

We will be going through a TAKS study guide today and will take our test over the TCAP Chapter Review tomorrow. The test is made up of 43 multiple choice and matching questions. Everything on the review will be on the test.
Today, we will start working on a series of terms, concepts, court cases, etc. that we will combine into a "TCAP Chapter." We will work on this over the next two days and will have a test over the material on Friday.

When Tennessee is finished with the TCAP exam, all of the testing material is destroyed. However, Texas publishes their standarized test online. Since our state standards are similar to those in Texas, these test are a great resourse in preparing our students for the TCAP exam.
Today, we will work our way through one of these test and will go over the answers as a class.
